My Kubernetes Cluster is down for maintenance.
In 1993 a friend taught me how to
take a computer apart and replace one of the cards. Being a motor head, I
thought, That was easy. I discovered the World Wide Web was filled with
information that could teach me more. I would spend hours on end reading all I
could find. I fell into the rabbit hole and I am not coming out!
Began my side job fixing
computers. Mostly for friends and relatives. I would replace cards, debug any
hard drive failures, and remove all sorts of viruses. I was a learning/fixing
machine. It did not take long for me to migrate from fixing computers to
learning how to program them.
In 1996 I moved down to
Wilmington, NC. There I began to teach myself how to program software. I created
my first commercial software application that took 20 floppy disks to load.
In 2000 The new millennium
begins! I joined KnolwedgeXtensions in Delmar, NY and my world exploded into
software development.
In 2007 I teamed up with a
British company and traveled to the UK for 2 weeks of onboarding. That was cool!
In 2010 I ventured into the
financial and insurance markets as an IT Principal.
In 2015 I officially took on a
role as Devops Engineer.
In 2019 Covid-19 hit and the world grinded to a
halt!
